Coming back from my fathers I saw my computer riddled with some virus and my desktop covered with a YOU MAY HAVE SPYWARE AND ADWARE.
I seem to be missing a .dll file, and my computer has unknownley installed something called PSGaurd.

I have no idea what to do and am severly pissed at whoever did this.
I am running on Windows 98. It would be easier for someone to help me step-by-step on AIM.
Also Note: I am using Mozilla FireFox, my InternetExplorer is NOT working since I came home.

if you have the psguard infection, you will need more info then you could get on aim from one of us.

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Please skip the section on Ewido, since that is only useable in Windows 2000, and Windows XP
