That is the rarest thing, not one bad file. There has to be one somewhere or we are getting false positives. Every program gives false positives.

Has tour Trojan Hunter trial period expired yet? If so, please uninstall it and remove all references to the program and all it s parts from Windows Explorer.

1. Download WinPFind.zip
- Extract it to your C:\ folder. This will create a folder called WinPFind in the C:\ folder.

2. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode.

3. Open the C:\WinPFind folder and double-click on WinPFind.exe.
(- Add any desire config changes here)
- Click on the Start Scan button and wait for it to finish.

This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log file at C:\WinPFind\WinPFind.txt.

4. Pleased copy that log to your next reply.

Trevuren,

I appreciate your perseverence. I won't forget it. I'm at work now but will do this when I get home this evening.

Thank you.

Trevuren,

Here is the log file from WinPfind:

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

WinPFind v1.3.1 - Log file written to "WinPFind.Txt" in the WinPFind folder.

Thank you.

BTW, I still seem to be connected to Yahoo and all those Universities. Is there a way to check this for sure?

That extensive log didn't show a thing.

When are you aware that you are connected to all those sites? I cannot find any evidence of it anywhere.
