yes speaker is connected u said red and black wire right

i have a solarmax model x2-250

Yes red and black and on the ends it will say speaker with a plus and minus, check the manual for correct orientation

Remove the ram and power on the system, does it beep? This is the same as if there is a bad video card the system will beep indicating no usable memory. If no beep this can sometimes indicate a bad mobo. Just let me know if it does beep or not this is not definate yet.

Its late, I will check out the psu and get back tomarrow

also the psu if i connect a hard drive our cd rom to it it works fine but if i put the ide cable from the hd our cdrom to the motherboard they dont work

i did some quick checking and could not find any info on that psu so that in itsellf makes it suspect.
Is there anyway you can try another psu?

well i did some research and solarmax arnt really good psu's but if its able to make a hard drive go on :\ i dunno would the psu cause my system not to boot?

Yes a psu can cause a system not to boot, if you have a digital voltmeter we can test it but it would be easier to swap a different one in.

I think at this point you need to troubleshoot the psu and then move on from there.

i tried another psu that i use in my current pc and it stil the montior wouldnt go on so it must be the mobo i got one coming tomorrow im gonna try it out with the processor thats in this board that wont boot hope it will work
