Hi, please check hijack this log. my machine running on windows 2000 is booting up real real slow. Any help appreciated.

*Download CWShredder. Start CWShredder and click FIX

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Put a check in the box next to the following items:

* Click on "Fix Checked" when finished and exit HijackThis.

*Download LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.
This will create a new folder called LQfix on your desktop.
Open the folder and doubleclick ClickThis.bat
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Your system will reboot afterwards.
Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.

After the reboot, post back a fresh HijackThis log and I'll take another look.

If you had any problems problems during your fix, let me also know in your next reply.

Great job!! Your log looks clean.

In order to help prevent future infection, please follow these tips :

*Clean your temp files on a regular basis:
In Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" => "Internet Options" => "Delete Files" and put a mark next to "Delete All Offline Content"
Click on "OK" twice.
Also, empty the recycle bin by right clicking on it and selecting "Empty Recycle Bin".

*Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

*Download and install SPywareblaster.
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.


*Keep your system up-to-date with the latest security fixes from Microsoft.
