Usually on start up I have to close down my anti-virus software because it makes my computer run terribly terribly slow; today I had a look at my processes and I see that System Idle Process, even though taking up only 16K is taking up 90 - 99 CPU!

What is happening? :tazz:

The System Idle Process indicates the unused percentage of the CPU

Does your anti virus have an option to not scan at boot
