Win2k errors

Hi, I have a major problem with Win2k program errors. Anytime I try to start a program, IE microsoft word, it gives me an error (<program name> has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program) I get that message with anything that I open. Also, anytime I open internet explorer it asks me to send an error report. Is this a virus? How can I solve this problem? Thanks....

Hi Sprawl11288,

Sounds like you could have malware of some kind. I suggest you START HERE and go through the manual fixes on your own and if you are still having problems, then post a hijackthis log in the malware forum
