I hope I've placed my question in the right section, but this is the best place I could find.

I'm using windows Xp just for reference. My problem is recently after bringing my computer out of stand-by, the size/positioning and image shape of my screen is always changed so it is way off to the side, and the pincusion affects are all changed. Every time I have to go into the menu and reset to default settings. I have to do this every time it comes out of stand-by :) :tazz: .

I was just wondering if anyone knows how I could fix this problem, thanks in advance :)

while some of those settings are windows related, the pin-cushion affect is an indication of failing hardware---try cleaning/vacumming the monitors air vents and seeing if it improves

Sorry for my delayed response, I've been quite busy with school this week. :tazz:

I've cleaned my monitor vents to the best of my ability and the settings still change as usual, is there anything else I could attempt ?

Thanks.
