just cleaned up wyx virus from laptop last week...

just got back from vaca. opened laptop and cant connect to some sites i always connected to. mod helped me clean out wyx virus and cleanup laptop last week before i left. can that be a problem? this is message i get when i try to connect to GOOGLE, EBAY... and some others

yes, complete links, using my "favorites" as i have for many years now. very wierd.
scanning for virus now.

That will be the quickest route to looking at this, if you have malware then it will negate anything you try to fix it

ok, ran HJ, fixed a few things, mostly [bleep] sites from my boy sneaking onto my laptop, jsut put password on laptop.
ran cleanup and all is well. thanks
