:tazz: please running win98se and every time i load a cd in the the rom drive i get a blue screed with a udfreadr(1) problem. I have changed the cd-rom drive for a new one and still getting the same problem.

udfreadr.sys is related to packet-writing software (allows a pc without packet-writing software installed to read a packet-written cd). By packet-writing software I'm referring to Roxio's 'DirectCD' (now called 'Drag To Disc'), and Nero's 'InCD'. If you have either of these installed I would uninstall them - packet-writing is convenient but very unreliable. I never use that form of cd burning.
