well i fixed my malware issue but i believe i may have lost a few files, first off, pc-cillin,microsoft spyware, and trojan blocker no longer open on startup, and i was going to play with my background picture but i got an error message, surprisingly i could still access the properties though.

the error message said:

this application has failed to start because daimage.dll was not found. re-installing the application may fix this problem.

is there a quick fix i can run to repair this?

it's not a virus, it's TROJAN HUNTER. i use the guard program that comes with it as a second line of defense.
