I have some tenacious malware I can't get rid of. :tazz:

Here is what I've tried so far:

Spybot, Ad-Aware, Clean Up, Trojan Hunter, CWShredder, McAfee, Windows updates.

After those didn't work, I chased it around the computer manually with HighJack This. I've highlighted the codes below. I can remove the HKEY command, but when I try to delete the file, it simultaneously starts the program and re-writes the code, keeping me from getting rid of it. The same thing happens in safe mode. It posts an additional file named mdms.lgc to the applog file - FYI. I feel like I'm continously pulling the flower off a dandelion! How can I kill this thing? Are there other files at the root?

HighJack This log:

P.S. - Here's some supplemental info:

I had a heck of a time getting Spy Sheriff off my machine. Perhaps it's related to that. I saw an internet posting that linked the file to Trojan.Repsamo.

Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :tazz:

I see you are running Hijackthis from your desktop. Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and move hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a within a folder please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
