I have run through all the protocols, but my computer is acting strange when I am online. I have DSL but it is taking forever to open web pages. Sometimes it is only opening half a page or I get the "IE has encountered a problem and must close" message. Please help!

Hi nspond
Sorry for the delay in response, As it has been a few days since you have posted could you post a fresh HJT log,

Along with the following
  • Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443
  • Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
  • Open the folder and run FindIt's.bat and wait for notepad to open a text file. It will take awhile so please be patient ...
  • Then post the results here please,
If you have since resolved this issue if you could please let us know
