[COLOR=blue] I was surfing the web when my Norton 2005 Anti-Virus told me that it had detected a trojan horse. It also said that this problem could not be repaired. I find that somehow ironic, but that's just me. Ever since that, my computer has been running differently. Mostly, it's just running slower that it used to. When I open a window/program it takes a few second (or longer) to activate. When Windows starts up, it takes much longer than normal and I can hear my hard drive "grind" occasionally. When I shut-down, this also takes a long time (up to several minutes) with the message "ending program- ccApp" appearing. Lately when I try to close some programs (if I have multiple windows open) they will just free and I have to use Windows Task Manager to end the programs (which I NEVER had to do before). Until, I received this message I had zero problems with my computer. I have BlackICE Intrusion Protection installed and running constanly, but I must admit that my Norton was outdated by a couple of weeks. I am a novice home user, but any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

Then use the Disk Cleanup Utility to empty all your Temp folders.

Thanks Metallica for the quick (and very helpful) response. I don't know how you know what you know, but this website rocks! Just out of curiousity, what did I "uncheck" and what did unchecking it do?

You fixed a Browser Helper Object which would have been the remains of mnyviewer.dll.
Possibly. The file was damaged which is why it was listed as no name - no file.
