Hello everyone, was wondering if you can help me...

I have a dell Dimension 2100 that I am working on. I tried to do a full reformat and reinstall Win XP. It goes through the whole installation process, although it does not ask me to remove the disc at the end of the install as it has done for me before, and then once the pc reboots, I get a black screen with just the flashing cursor. I have reformatted many a pc for someone and this is the first time I have come upon this issue. Can anyone lead me in the right direction.....

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Maybe an error occured, try doing another format and re-installation. If it doesn't work then you might have a faulty disc
