does it mean that if i get a netgear wireless pc card,it will only work with netgear wireless router?or is it that if i don use the netgear wireless router than my range or speed won't be the speed and coverage that is in the specifications?

pls help...thanks

No, most wrieless card and router are standard so that you should be able to use other router.
