Can someone please recommend a hardy, reasonable data collection device that would allow us to hand enter values (electrical conductivity readings) obtained on the shop floor, for download to a PC to produce a data list and histogram? I'm hoping there's something generic (blackberry, PDA - ??) I could pick up for this duty. We're using a MS Excel add-in, SPC Excel2000 which is working out very well, except for the time involved in writing the readings down then keying them into the PC to produce the charts.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!
