My IE went quiet...

Internet Explorer always made sounds when I clicked on links and such. But it's gone quiet, and I know sounds still work, because I can run Quicktime, WinAMP, etc.

what happens if you go to a web site that has video file or audio clips, and you play them?
Do you have sound?

On a web page, click tools, internet options then advanced

Either click restore defaults or look for play sounds in web pages
