My monitor was fading back (like when you get norrowed vision), then when a foggy white colour appeared over everything (desktop, games, internet). I am sure i need a new monitor, but i want to know if anyone knows what the cause is. The monitor is only two years old.

I hope the attachment shows you what i mean, i can not see ig the picture is clear as the monitor is still fogged.

Just edited this post.

My monitor is now clearer, the fog just went away. I would still like to know if anyone knows what is happening.

I do have the software, there are buttons so i can adjust the brightness/contrast and colours (RGB) and size/shape, but i have not touched them in nearly two years. I am sure it is a part (component) of the monitor, just do not know what.

Try re-installing the software for the monitor

Try to find the reset button

If it is an easy thing, try another monitor or try your monitor with another PC
