setting up a shoutcast server in winamp

I've downloaded all the required software-plug-ins for winamp so i can start my own show. I have everything set up, the config file has been edited so my pass will work, yet when i type my pass into the DSP source plug-in, it says in my GUI window that i entered a invalid pass. Any ideas???

also, i have one more question...not related to shoutcasts..i lost my volume on winamp and i've checked every volume setting and even re-wired my speakers and no sound in winamp. However, i can get sound anywhere else...
