hi all
I got error 937 when trying to connect 2 PC to a win2k box with 2 modems and ras. It says because another connection of your type is in use the incoming connection cannot accept your connection request. What is the reason for this? I I need to connect 3 pcs simultaneously to one server with 2 modems.(or two COM ports using null modem cables)
thanx in advance

Modems? Do you mean network cards? Please give details and descriptions on the hardware you are using and the operating system's that are installed on the other 2 pc's.

sorry if have left things confusing.i explain my problem again. i have three PCS.all running Windows XP. one of PCs is made server and running ras services on it.on server's two COM ports(COM1 and COM2)
i have connected other two PCs.now i make dial up connections on two clinet PCs and dial my server.it works well.but i can not make connections simultaneously on both PCs.i have to disconnect one client PC to connect other.i have read windows XP documentation and it says that "WindowsXP Professional can accept three incoming connections at a time, provided they are different types. for example , there can be three simultaneous connections, one each, from dialup,VPN, and a direct connection. IF another incoming connection attempt is made with the same type, such as two dial up connections, the second connection request is rejected."
so it is the limitation of XP.but i want two connections of same type i-e DCC .on WInXP.is there any third party software for it.
i am extremely sorry for my previous confusing mail and for not explaining things properly.
regards

Hmm, this is definitely a new one for me. I don't know of any software off hand, but I will look into it deeper. I would suggest using a router and network cards for the fastest and easiest configuration. I'll let ya know what I find out.
