My problem is that I have been looking for something that will teach me how to program in access(for example VBA programming), but so far I have found nothing. Does anybody know how to program in access that can help me or can someone reccomend a site/program?

Was the link that I gave you in a previous topic of no use? Do you require a tutorial that starts from scratch? I don't know of any sites that give free tutorials starting from scratch. There are many books available for purchase on this subject.

No. it was more about access than it was VBA (visual basic application). What I am looking for is a program, book, or website that will help me learn from scratch how to program in access. I have the VBA programing for dummies book but I do not know how to relate its ideas to my job. Do you know any thing that can explain how to program in access?
Thanks,
T-man

If I understand you correctly, I assume that you can create a database with the GUI and you are asking for help to program Access with VBA. If this is the case then this link may be of help. Check out the Lessons on the left hand side of the page as well as the Topics in the centre of the page.

I have the VBA programing for dummies book but I do not know how to relate its ideas to my job.

I believe that you may only be able to find examples of different program scenarios on the web. The best way to approach this may be to join a specific VBA forum and post questions regarding your particular programming task. I am sure that there would be persons more than willing to explain how to structre your code. The only other solution would be to view the code of an existing database that has similar workings to what you wish to accomplish (please ensure that you have the neccessary permission for this).

If you require help with creating an Access database using the GUI, please post back and I shall point you in the direction of numerous sites specifically dealing with those type of tutorials.

BTW: Do you still require help with your other post regarding the "&" problem?
