Error Whiles using system restore CD

Hellooo,

While I was restoring my Toshiba Satellite 3000 pc using the Product Recovery CD-ROM I recieved an error message - !!!!! Error Extracting !!!!! at about 80% (after putting disk 2 in) I am able to restart the PC but I can't access Windows I can only get to the Recovery CD menu. If it's the disc can i download it? If not is it possible to format the PC and place windows ontop? If thats the only way...HOW!!

PLEASE HELP!!!
