after a spyware/virus crash i cannot access "c:\documents and settings\owner" its there but it says "access is denied". I cleaned out my computer of spyware with the help of you guys but i have some pictures and music I would like to recover from this folder. Is there anyways to access it again? I'm on windows home edition...all the recovery methods i searched seem to only work in pro...The Owner account is no longer present...the folder says its about 506mb full when I check user profile advanced settings.

Go into Safe mode (tapping F8 when you initially turn on your computer until a screen shows up giving you the option to boot into safe mode). Log in as the Administrator and see if you can access the folder then (C:\Documents & Settings\Owner\My Documents)
