Hi there.

I just recently installed Windows Vista Beta 1 [5112]

However upon installing MSN Messenger 7.5, I have found that i am unable to connect, with the following error, which is in the pic i have included.

Could anybody help me out with this issue?

Many Thanks

Have you made sure you've set your firewall to allow the connecton?

If you are still having that problem, get MSN Messenger to trouble shoot it

i tried changin things like MTU as i on aol and got a router i just cant see why it wouldnt let me connect as i have seen screenshots of vista where people have actually been able to sign in.

i ran the troubleshooter and it seemed ok.

I do not have this trouble with MSN when i use Windows Xp.

So could that mean the copy i downloaded was not complete ?

Could be that it is a Beta, but I'm not 100% sure, I have PMed a Trusted Tech, someone should be here soon.

try downloading MSn again and re-installing it.
That's my first option.
