download Spywareblaster

1.Install it
2.update it
3.then enable all protection

Please download Spybot Search & Destroy
1.Update it
2 .click the immunization button
3. Run a scan with it and let me know what it finds

OK silvermine ,Ive been researching this and tell me how often you get these popups. Do they only happen at certain sites. Is it the same popup for the same thing?Or are they totally random and happen anytime anywhere. Im struggling to find anything wrong. The 3 infections with winfixer tells me there is probably something we cant see or a dishonest website

Oh and havent forgot about your other computer, just a little pressed for time lately and that computer is pretty clean. I will reply to it tomorrow and see if we can speed it up some

Hello - I get mostly the media fastclick ones but also many different random ones. How often? On the http://www.jigzone.com/ site - they are frequent. And yesterday I got one on this site.
Do you have any idea why I keep getting this winfixer infection? It's only on the laptop - not on the desktop computer. Actually I haven't seen a winfixer popup for days. Thanks for your help.

Ok lets try a newer tool that gets high praises

Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:

Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement, leave [X]scan through Windows Explorer checked, click > scan then > next

You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers).

Copy and paste this log in your next reply. Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe

Also

Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.
