I was following the instructions to post my HijackThis log and ran Cleanup! However, I got an error message saying:

Filest hat are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognizable versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.

Insert your Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD now.

Why did this happen? Is this free software (Cleanup!) legit?

After reading some other replies about this problem, I restored a prior date's version of XP & I'm ok. :tazz:
