Hi,

I have an annoying little bug with IE at the mo, About 3 months ago it started to go slow, IE.

I start IE, Window loads loading bar at bottom comes up as it is going to load the page, then pauses for 10-15secs, then loads the page straight away it does this on all websites, I thought it looked like Adware or Spyware, So got myself Ad-aware run that and it found about 10 critical errors, So corrected them, and thought i bet that is sorted. but no!
So got myself spybot, didn't find anything, I have resorted now to unistalling all firewall and security packages, But still no luck, I have searched around the net for people with same problem, i try the replys they had back (Answers) but still no luck.

It's not a line problem cos my downloads are still fine, it's just the surfin, It's like it's pausing before each page to check something then loading the page

Anyone able to help?

Im running a 1mb adsl connection

Thanks
Zonal,

Let me know if you want any info or an hijack this report

I think you should reinstall your firewall and antivirus software and make sure they are enabled and updated before going online. Then you need to use msconfig to disable start up services for diagnostics. You have an awful lot running at start up, most of which isn't needed. Shutting some of that down might speed up performance.
