hi there. i just built this system

Windows XP Pro
512 DDR SDRAM x 2
3.2Ghz Intel P4 CPU
ATI X800 Pro
120G SATA HD
DVD R-RW
600W X-Finity PSU

this should be running games without a hitch for the most part. the problem is... you guessed it.. it doesnt. ive been getting really bad fps in games like BF1942 and UT2004 (in the single player mode). i have all of the drivers and all of that sort of thing and cant seem to fix it. im still not sure what it is but when i right-click on the desktop then go to Properties, Settings, Advanced, to get into the video card options.. its listed as being in PCI bus 1... i have the AGP X800. i dont know if thats normal but thats what im here to find out. and if it isnt.. then how do i fix it??

btw in BIOS i have it set as AGP for the primary display device..

thank you for any help!!!! :tazz:

well ive been looking around and a lot of times windows sees it as a pci card. technically all agp is a pci with a much high bandwidth I would use a program like everest to check to see wut it shows up on also i would chk your bios and see wut it is set (sometimes you can change the interface
