OK, since you ran those already, then try uninstall Symantec (which I never liked - I ask users to remove it usually when they have problems piling up). Did you try reinstalling Symantec? Does that bring you back to Normal Mode?

Ok, I finally ended up reinstalling the software from my recovery discs and I am no longer in safe mode :tazz: . I am now going to post a new hijack log, maybe we can go from there?!?! Thanks, Jenny
