CD DRIVES WILL NOT OPEN!

I CANNOT OPEN EITHER OF MY CD DRIVES!!!!!! When i press the button, nothing happens, this happens to both my dvd drive, and my cd-rw drive. Also when i go to my computer, there is no icon for either of them. I dont know what happenend, or how to fix this. There is no Disks in the drives so they cant b jammed....SOME PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!! :tazz:

Strange.. have you modified anything in the bios or inside the case recently?? either the bios isn't detecting them or the power cords aren't plugged into them, try swtching the power cords with other ones hopefully hanging around the inside of the case and checking your bios settings to make sure its automatically detecting the drives on whatever channels they're set on.

has anyone else but you used the computer between the time that it worked normally and now? you should checvk the settings and cords anyways maybe someone screwed them up

ya my friends mom is good with computers, she explained how, im going to try it, and ill get back to u, but it shoudlnt have, b/c noone has removed teh cover
