Hey Ty2015!

To do a fresh install, put your XP cd in the CD-ROM drive, then reboot/turn-on your computer. When the prompt displays on the screen: "Press any key to boot from cd," hit a key and windows will boot from the CD. When you get to the first screen, hit ENTER to install windows. At the next screen, hit ESC to do a fresh install of windows. Then on the next screen, hit D to delete the partition (hit ENTER and L on the next two screens). Then hit C to create a partition. Hit ENTER on the next screen. Then hit ENTER again on the following screen and then on the next screen, select the OPTION that says: "FORMAT (using NTFS, but NOT NTFS (Quick)). Your hard drive will then be formatted, taking about 1 minute per GB. Then files will be copied to the hard drive. After that just follow the prompts you get along the way.

If you have any problems while doing this, log on to another computer with internet access and post in this thread.

Good luck!
