hey,

the problem is that whenver i open an image on the desktop windows picture and fax viewer opens for half a second then it dies. i can open images up with win pic & fax in any other directory, just not the desktop. i am however, able to open up images on the dektop with other applications such as ms paint. anyone got any ideas what might be causing this unusual problem? thanks in advance.
