Hello,

Try starting out with a blank new page and going to Insert->Picture->New Photo Gallery..

It sounds like you are using the template and not doing this...

good luck,

look at it in Internet Explorer.

i tried firefox and showed no next arrows, but in Internet explorer i could see them.

i would recommend using a lighter color background than black because it may be hard to see the arrows.

im not really sure whyy it is like that. Of course a microsoft program will be best compatible with another microsoft program. Hence Microsoft Frontpage to Microsoft Internet Explorer.

so i found a way to get a photoalbum by using the "personal page" template in Frontpage and it makes the photogallery folder its supposed to and i can save and all, BUT if i make any changes (like trying to put in my own pictures or even changing the layout) it automatically changes the code back to the temporary folder and wont let me save. Im going crazy.....

A quick fix for this is to start a blank page and save it in My Documents >> My Sites (Frontpage generates this folder by default), after that you will be able to save it. Just for future reference. Hope it helps. :tazz:

here's a successful step by step sequence for saving a photo gallery using FP2003:

start>programs>FP>file>open web>on new_page_x.htm ... insert>picture>new photo gallery>add>select image>ok>save>ok

if this sequence does not work, then there might be hijack issue.
