Mt PC is running Windows XP SP-2. I started having a pop-up from my Symantec A/V after one of the kids clicked a link in an IM.

Symantec says the virus was the Trojan.Cachekit and the file deleted was rdriv.sys. It pops up about every 2 minutes. I also get a pop-up from Windows stating that there was a problem with "D1rectX.exe" and the program was closed.

My Internet zones appear to have been changed as i cannot get to many sites such as Symantec, Trend, etc.. I have tried to change them to default settings, but they revert immediately. The firewall in SP-2 has also been disabled and I cannot turn it back on.

I have read many of the posts here about the rdriv.sys and have tried all that was suggested to no avail. I have used Clean Up, Ad-Aware, Spybot S/D, Ewido Suite, Killbox, HiJackThis, rdrivrem.zip, M/S Anti-Spyware and my A/V which is Symantec Corporate 9. They report nothing, but the pop-ups continue to occur.

Here is the log file from HiJackThis:
