installing usb 2.0

I have a Compaq Presario laptop with 4 usb ports but none are 2.0. My new ipod needs a 2.0 or a firewire port to function. How difficult is it to install a USB 2.0 into a laptop???

You dont need USB 2.0 to use the IPod. You can use USB 1.1 fine, but by using USB 2.0 the files transfer alot quicker to the IPod from the laptop. But if you still want to get USB 2.0 then, I need to the model of the laptop, to see if it has a PCMCI slot for a card that gives USB 2.0. Hope that is helps.
