MSN Messenger + High Virtual Mem Usage

I am having trouble with my MSN Messenger. When I sign in, my Virtual Memory usage increases by around 160Mb. I have removed the program, removed all smilies and winks and all that garbage and still the same crap. When I sign out, it drops down to around 30Mb.

Any ideas how to fix this?\
