someone gave me a compaq presario 1247 laptop. when you open it , the screen lights up, but the computer won't come on at all. the power light comes on when i plug it in ,but when i press the power button nothing happens. the insides say it was made in 1999, so i presume it has windows 98 on it. is this unit worth repair?can someone help me or tell me where i might could get it repaired?
