Hello.

I have read numerous posts and I am familiar with the various programs used to clean malware, spyware, viruses, etc.

I have tried to use the MS AV program, spybot, the trendmicro online scan, a trendmicro software, and ccleaner just to name a few but I cannot get rid of these pop ups. Winfixer2005, matchservice.com, amx travel, vipfares.com,winantispyware.com, registrydefender.com...just to name a few..I get certain pop ups when I look at certain sites ( i.e. travel I get vip fares and priceline.com...when I search for these pop ups i get the winantispyware and registrydefender pop ups.) I have run the software utils in safe mode as well. I have eliminated or stopped a lot of services as you can see. I have looked and compared my log to other logs here but I am stuck. Please help!

Before we can get started on fixing your problem you must change the location of Hijackthis. It should not run directly from your desktop or a temp directory. Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and download and unzip hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a permanent folder, please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
