Hi,

I am experiencing a strange problem with my dvd ram drives. I am running several LG ram drives on a couple servers, running InCd that came with the drive.
I use this for backups, and do an Xcopy of all the important files I need saved.

I have noticed that every now and again a ram disc becomes read only.
The only way to rectify it is to do a dvd format on the disc.

Why does this keep happening?
Is this an InCd problem?
Can I use something else other than InCd with these drives?

Does any one know of a command line i can use in my bathc to do an InCd format of the ram disc? A normal dos format doesn't format the disc correctly, but I'm sure there is a way to do an inCd format.

The file is read only also.
Something i 4got to mention also (should have mentioned this)
is that when inCd locks the disc, it sometimes reboots the machine.

Files saved to disc usually go read only but when copied back to the PC are not

Note the serial number for Nero then uninstall it, run disc clean up then download it

You may have a better result using Nero / Vision Express to make the CD's

Make sure you have a serial number for Nero 6
