I thought I got ride of this but it came back worst then ever. Cannot provide ewido logs because 7% into it I get a fatal error and it reboots the PC. Same thing when running Spybot, half way through, fatal error and reboots. Please help.... Bill.

Sorry that I haven't responded earlier but the PC died and since it was an HP Pavilion I had to do a non-desructive restore which was successful. I believe I have rid myself of the problems but I am attaching the HJT logs for you to review anyway. Please review and if you do not see anything major then we will show this as a closed item. Just frustration. After the reload I had to go back and make sure all the programs worked. Those that didn't needed to be re-installed. I am having problems with the MS Framework .NET version 1.1 upgrade. It won't install and I have an assist request open with MS on that one. Also, iTunes wouldn't run even with the latest download. So I uninstaled all of it, deleted the folders, deleted anything I could find that referenced Qucktime, ran RegEdit hoping to delete any references in the registry, ran Defrag (ran all night) and will attempt to install iTunes again. I am hoping that there is nothing assocaiated with the iPod software that is hanging it up. Other than that I'm fine and thanks for asking.

It's very frustrating and I feel your pain. Just went through it with an old 98SE that the kids use and abuse. Just lots of wear and tear and it needed to be revived. Hang in there. Looks like you are doing a good job. Don't know much about your itunes problems, but let me know if you need any more assistance.
