I need a tutorial on Knoppix Boot disk and XP Reinstallation? Thanks! and how long would it take, approximately? Thanks I have 256MB Ram and 10GB HDD!

Thanks! Just one more question whats better KillDisk or Knoppix Boot disk? Better as in stronger but easier to use?

I don't think it's popular enough for an *official* tutorial. I read the users guide and it looks like taht explains it as good as a tutorial would anyway. There's not exactly that much to overwriting data/reformatting. Why you wish to do so I don't understand.

Depending on how many times it writes over the file system over again, it could take a very long time.

If you really want to reformat, you won't need to overwite the data unless your trying to hide it from data recovery programs for some reason. Unless you have a boot sector virus your trying to shake, (this wouldn't work for that anyway,) You can just do a quick format. Like Format C: /Q /FS:NTFS

Oh ok. How do I do this quick format? But approx how long would a normal XP reinstalltion take and also how long would killdisk take approx?

A normal xp installation on my computer takes about 9 minutes, your will probbaly be much longer. killdisk would take hours to days depending on how many times it overwrites the hard drive, and to what degree.
