This may not be the appropriate forum for this question.
My OS isWindowsXP Home/sp2
I am using the Security Pkg from Verizon DSL
When I do the virus scan it says that there are no viruses detected but that 60 files could not be scanned an lists them separately
ProgramFiles/Common files
They also say quarantined and there is a .zip in them.
when I tried to find them with*.zip, I could not.
A search for Program files or common files either does not find anything or the couple it does find do not have .zip.
Needless to say, I am perplexed and concerned.
If by some miracle I find a way to "find" them, should I open them and scan them?
This is what the report suggests. :tazz:

think we would need more exact info to comment intelligently

Could not be scanned files could be files in use, or they could be files that are in a hidden folder, or maybe archived files in a restore point....

If the program says clean, though., I wouldn't worry too much...may be get a second opinion
