My PDA will no longer sync

My hp iPAC and my pc got along well for several months after the initial install. It randomly stopped syncing one day, and now I can't even get my pc to recognize that it is plugged in to a usb port.

This is only my 3rd topic, so I have no clue how difficult or easy this problem is.
