Working on it.

Can you do me a favor in the meantime?

Copy the code below into notepad and save it as lookup.bat
Set Filetype to "All files"
dir %Systemdrive%\scvhost.* /a h /s > files.txt
start notepad files.txt

Start the file by doubleclicking lookup.bat
That will open a file called files.txt. Post the content of that file.

So that file must have been removed by your scanners.
Excellent. :tazz:

Download and unzip BFUzip from http://computercops..../Merijn/bfu.zip
Run the program and click the Web button as shown here:

Please download and install RegProt from:
http://www.diamondcs...hp?page=regprot

Please make sure you understand how it works. If anything is unclear, ask.
Allow the startups it asks you about immediately after installing unless you recognize them without a doubt as bad.

When you are done installing check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SAHBundle] C:\DOCUME~1\Pat\LOCALS~1\Temp\rumir.exe run
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dsgpjxr] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rngaica\dsgpjxr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TVS_B] C:\Program Files\tvs\TVS_B.exe

Make sure to allow these cghanges when RegProt alerts you about them.

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\Program Files\tvs <= entire folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rngaica <= entire folder
And (still in safe mode) use the DiskCleanup Tool to empty all your Temp folders.

Boot back to normal and download WinPFind.zip and unzip the contents to the C:\ folder.

Start in Safe Mode Using the F8 method:
  • Restart the computer.
  • As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the boot menu appears.
  • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode menu item.
  • Press the Enter key.
Locate the c:\winpfind\winpfind.exe file and double-click it to run it. Now click the Start Scan button to begin the scan.

When the scan is complete reboot normally and post the WinPFind.txt file (located in the WinPFind folder)

Regards,

ok i did all that and here is the log from the winpfind

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

Looks like we are almost there. :tazz:

Click Start > Run type services.msc > OK
In the list of services find:
dsgpjxrrngaica
Rightclick that line and choose Properties.
On the General tab Stop and set the service to disabled.
In HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete an NT service
In the dialog box paste: dsgpjxrrngaica

Then click Start > Run > and copy this command:
regedit.exe /e C:\regid.txt "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open\command"
and click OK

This should create the file C:\regid.txt
Find it and post the content please.
