Are you by chance using a USB keyboard?

Also, when trying to enter Safe Mode, don't just hit F8 once. Hit F8 repeatedly, at about the rate of once per second, as soon as you turn on your computer.

So I'm figuring since you're using a wireless keyboard, that the receiver is connected to your computer using a USB port. Since that is the case, are you able to enter SETUP (aka the BIOS) using this keyboard. I'm figuring you can't because USB Keyboard support isn't enabled in the BIOS. You need to get another keyboard that plugs into the normal ps/2 port and get into the bios that way and change USB Keyboard support to enabled. Then you should be able to use your wireless keyboard to enter Safe Mode by pressing F8.
