New here, will probably visit often. I'm pretty proficeint on my PC and have an IT guy that I can call if it's something I can't handle on my own, but he usually googles the virus name and gets led to one of these forums to fix the problem most of the time so I can't get a hold of him today and need help so I can get back to work. I got a message, and a warning from Norton that I had hclean32.exe on my system. I found a fix for the hclean this but the other warning window still comes up.
The warning window is a classic style windows, window with the red "X" and says: "
Windows Security Center:
Warning: Windows Firewall detected suspicious network acitvity on your computer. Malicious software codes try to steal your privicy information such as credit cards email and passwords.
Do you want to learn how to protect your computer? {yes box and No box) "
I find this awfully stupid since who WOULDN"T want to learn how to protect thier computer right? SO I just closed it, I didn't click yes or no because I figure it may be the virus itself trying to get me to launch it or something.
I downloaded hijack this and would love some input on the report. If anyone can help, that'd be great.
