Default Font Problem

I was working on my computer this morning and one of my kittens stepped on my keyboard and now for some reason all my applications (games, incredimail, yahoo, etc...) show the fonts in Italics now.

What the heck happened? And how can I fix it?

HELP!

try right clicking your desktop, choose PROPERTIES, choose the THEMES tab, and choose WINDOWS XP in the THEME box, and hitting apply
