Windows xp rebooted and....

I have windows xp and my comp was slow and i did a system recovery and now when i turn on my comp this message comes up after the f1 and f10

"NTDLR is compressed"
"press Ctrl+alt+del to restart"

when i did that it restarted and kept happening plz help or my dad is killing me..

it has nothin to do wit mine i did a system recovery and the all is says wat i posted up above

the process is nonetheless the same

Insert your Windows XP CD and reboot

hit the space bar when prompted to press any key to boot from the CD

Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows.

Log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key and pressing enter.

Since you have Windows XP Pro. you must enter the password you used when you installed

Copy the below two files to the root directory of the primary hard disk.

Assuming the your CD-ROM drive letter "D". (if different, use that letter)

copy d:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy d:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\

Remove CD and reboot

u dont get it after the f1 and f10 button rite after that i cant press anything except ctrl alt and del and i tried ur way but i tried ur way but it wont work and it doesnt come up till the welcome screeN!!!!!!
