nasty trojan [CLOSED]

I'm working on my brother's computer he had windows 2000 and a pollution of spyware and viruses so i decided to reformatt. I put 2000 back on and the viruses were still there so i reformatted and put xp on viruses are still there. We are using avg antivirus, adaware, spybot, i put cwshredder on there, the virus is trojan horse collected.5.L, so i was following some steps from another forum but they didnt' work my first hijack log before doing any trouble shooting is as follows

so they suggested i had the WORM_RBOT.BHU virus so the steps they gave me were as follows: ewido security, CleanUp!, and of course all of my microsoft security updates then reboot in safemode and and run these programs restart and send the logs the logs from ewido is as follows:

now they wanted me to do a panda scan online the only thing was i couldn't get online in safemode because i had a dsl connection. So when i restarted the computer and contected i went to www.pandasoftware.com and tried to do the free scan well, it started scanning even said it found spyware and then i started getting popups for elite bar downloads and it tried to add a dialer. I really need help. Please.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Download and Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
