Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E0E899AB-F487-11D5-8D29-0050BA6940E3} - (no file)

Then download WinPFind.zip and unzip the contents to the C:\ folder.

Start in Safe Mode Using the F8 method:
  • Restart the computer.
  • As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the boot menu appears.
  • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode menu item.
  • Press the Enter key.
Locate the c:\winpfind\winpfind.exe file and double-click it to run it. Now click the Start Scan button to begin the scan.

When the scan is complete reboot normally and post the WinPFind.txt file (located in the WinPFind folder)

Hi, thanks for your help here is the log from winpfind

WARNING: not all files found by this scanner are bad. Consult with a knowledgable person before proceeding.

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

Not longer then usual and nothing that indicates a infection normally associated with Winfixer popups.

Download this zip.

http://www.downloads...atam.org/pv.zip
Please unzip it to the desktop. It will not work if you run it from inside the zip.

After unzipped go to the desktop. Open the pv folder. Double click on the runme.bat

A dos window will open. Please select option 1 for explorer dll's by typing 1 and then pressing enter.

Notepad will open with a log in it. Please copy and paste the log into this post.

Regards,

OK two things.

Can you find:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\samvcumd.dll
Rightclick it and look under Properties at the Version tab if you can tell which program it belongs to.

Also I'd suggest you uninstall TDS3. They stopped updating so long ago it has become quite useless where active protection is concerned.

Can you upload that file here:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

Let me know the results.

Maybe the System32 folder is hidden?
Look at your screenshot above. The folder exists.
Open a Command prompt (Start > Run > cmd > ok)
In the prompt type these commands and hit ENTER after each line:
cd\
attrib C:\Windows\System32 -s -h

Then look for it again.
